Designed as a working office desk and embellished with details inspired by furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries, this piece is built from black walnut and sugar maple, with ebony and figured walnut inlays. At 74″ x 30″, the top surface is large enough for a laptop plus whatever else goes with work at a desk, like multiple open books, file folders, or even full sized drawings. There are two wide, deep, albeit shallow drawers perfect for additional miscellaneous stuff. These can be further modified to suit your specific needs.
I can build this desk in either walnut, maple, Honduran mahogany, white oak or just about any wood you would prefer.
