Designed as a statement piece for a front entry, this credenza is built from solid sapele, sugar maple and sapele veneer. It’s modern style is void of anything extraneous. The simplicity in form allows the flamboyant character common in flat sawn sapele to come forward and take center stage. With three deep drawers dovetailed by hand, this cabinet could work well in any number of different spaces from office to dining room, or wherever a strong accent piece is needed. The main focus here is on the veneer which wraps continuously around from one side, across the front and on to the other side. I could however make this in any available veneer you would like.
