Originally conceived as a platform for a futon, this frame is easily adaptable for use with contemporary organic latex mattresses. The version shown is in quarter sawn and flat sawn sapele, and fits a queen size mattress, but can be built in any size from twin to king. It can also be built in either Honduran mahogany, black walnut or white oak. Finish is in linseed oil and wax.
